The Parish community of St Thomas More

Mass is an opportunity for God's people to gather together to worship God, to pray, to give thanks and to leave church renewed in spirit, having heard God's word, and filled with the presence of Christ, to bring that word and that presence into their workplaces and wherever they find themselves.

Sunday Mass is an especially important moment for us to gather, to be a community of faith - something we can't do if we choose to stay at home and pray in isolation from the rest of the community.

The school working with the home and parish is setting up special Sundays when we can come together to pray as a worshipping community.

Perhaps we could make it a point to encourage someone who hasn't been to Mass regularly to come along and feel the warmth of belonging to a believing loving and welcoming community of faith.
